Chainsaw Grinding Wheel for Foley-Belsaw models 308, 394 and 399

These 1/8″ thick, Resin Bond grit chain grinding wheels are for chain pitches of 1/4″, .325″ and 3/8″LP.

The dimensions are: 5″ diameter, 1/8″ thickness, with a 1/2″ diameter arbor hole. They are a Resin Bond wheel, and are 60 grit.

Q. Do these wheels require any preparation to use?

A. Yes. The edges of these wheels are square and must be rounded before use. Rounding is done using a Dressing Stick, and is checked using the Grinding Wheel Radius Check Tool.

Q. How do I determine what pitch my chain is?

A. To determine the pitch of a chain, measure the distance between the centers of any three consecutive rivets and divide by 2. A result of .375″ means 3/8 pitch. Or, make it simple and use our Pitch-N-Gauge Saw Chain Check Tool.

Q. Are longer lasting chain saw grinding wheels available in this size?

A. Yes. 1/8″ thick CBN Plated Wheels are available that will outlast several of the standard resin bond wheels.
